About my work
Each of my ceramic pieces are unique. My work bridges the gap between serving a practical function in the house or garden and fulfilling an artistic vision. The pieces are often inspired by the nature that surrounds my studio in the hills of South Kent, CT.
Beginning in 2022, I started to finish my sculptural pieces by painting the fired claybody with oil paints and linseed oil. This technique enhances the texture of the clay and accentuates the marks made by my hands during the building process.
